House Prices & House Sales The Chichester property market has remained robust with the average house price increasing by 8.7% between 2006 and 2007, by 4.2% so far in 2008, and by over 110% since 2000. Total sales were down 5.2% in 2007, following a record high number of sales in 2006.
The top house price in Chichester has frequently reached upwards of £1.5m since 2000. While there have been fewer property sales over £1m in the last two years, these prices are currently being achieved in 2008.
Summary The Chichester property market has remained extremely robust, an increase of 4.2% in the average home price so far in 2008 and strong year-on-year growth each year since 2000 (111%).
Terraced homes have consistently dominated the property mix in Chichester, accounting for at least 30% of all sales over the past three years.
