Property For Sale To Come Under The Microscope In Cambridge

The needs of those buying property for sale in the Cambridge area will be made a priority, the city council has said.

It announced that a review will be held into its housing strategy for the next three years, and residents in the city are being invited to air their views.

A questionnaire has been launched on the local authority's website, and councillors will be able to canvass the opinions of the public before making any improvements in the region.

Executive councillor Catherine Smart told Cambridge-News.co.uk: "We must update our strategy as it is important to capture the changes in the needs and aspirations of people for their housing. We want to have a good understanding of the [property] situation."

Shewent on to encourage the public to join in with the consultation process, giving the council the best chance of improving the outlook for those investing in property for sale.

During George Osborne's Autumn Statement, he announced that 35 transport initiatives will be launched, including improvements to the A14 in Cambridge costing £20million.
